Memphis Mori is a Canadian tattoo entrepreneur, creative director, and cultural commentator based in Hamilton, Ontario. They are the founder of GRIM Studios, a queer- and woman-owned tattoo studio, and Reth-Ink, a tattoo removal initiative known for providing free removal of hate, gang, and trafficking-related tattoos.

Mori’s work sits at the intersection of tattoo culture, queer and feminist advocacy, and small-business leadership. They have been featured in national and international media for their work in tattooing, community harm reduction, and discussions around identity, visibility, and ethics within the tattoo industry.

​

In addition to operating multiple businesses, Mori is the creator behind several cultural projects focused on tattoo history, media literacy, and marginalized narratives within body art. Their commentary frequently addresses the social impact of tattoos, the economics of creative labour, and the role of tattooing in queer and countercultural communities.
